| Job Description |
Trainees are required to teach one main specialism to KS4 level from the following list:
- Resistant materials technology
- Textiles technology
- Food technology
- Electronic & communications technology
In addition a subsidiary specialism must be offered up to KS3. The second specialism may be selected from the above list or
Candidates are required to bring a portfolio or sample of their work to the interview, in order to demonstrate the quality of their practical skills and abilities. Candidates with industrial or workplace experience are welcomed.
There are 4 places available in D&T; a maximum of 1 place only is available in Food Technology and 1 place only in Textiles. |

A degree in a Design & Technology related subject (e.g. Product Design, Textiles & Fashion, Food & Nutrition)
GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above (or equivalent) |
